Privacy Policy

Renewly: Subscription Tracker · Effective October 15, 2026

Renewly is an iPhone app published by TNPixel ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Renewly uses and what it does not. The short version: we do not collect your subscription list, your spending, or any personal profile. Renewly has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, it does not ask for your bank or email login, and it does not require an account.

What stays on your device

• Your subscriptions: the names, prices, dates, notes, categories, ratings and labels you type (for example the card or payment method name you choose to enter) are stored on your iPhone. We do not receive them and cannot read them.
• Your settings, budget, currency, reminder times and backups you export are stored on your iPhone or in files you choose to save or share.
• Widgets, Live Activities, Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight use the same on-device data. Renewly adds the names of your active subscriptions to the on-device Spotlight index so you can find them; this index stays on your iPhone.

Features that use iOS permissions

• Notifications: renewal and trial reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. They are not sent from a server.
• Face ID / passcode: if you turn on the app lock, iOS verifies you. Renewly never receives your biometric data.
• Calendar: only when you tap "Add renewals to Calendar" does Renewly ask for permission to add events (write-only access). Renewly does not read your existing calendar events.
• Photos: when you import from a screenshot, you choose the image with the system photo picker. Renewly reads the text in it on your device using Apple's Vision framework, then discards the image. It is not saved or uploaded.
• Share extension and pasted text: text or links you share to Renewly, or paste into it, are processed on your device to suggest a name, price and date.
• On-device assistant: on supported devices Renewly can use Apple's on-device language model to answer questions about your list. It runs on your iPhone, so your list does not leave the device.

iCloud sync (optional, Premium)

If you turn on iCloud sync, your subscription list is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage and synced to your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID. We have no access to it. Turn sync off in Settings. If you delete all data in Renewly while sync is on, the synced copy is cleared as well.

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a service provider, to manage Premium subscriptions and purchases. To do this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase and subscription status, and basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system and country, as described in RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. This information is used only to provide and restore your purchases, and it is not used for tracking or advertising.

What we do not do

• We do not show ads and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps and websites.
• We do not connect to your bank, card or email accounts.
• We do not know which subscriptions you have.

Children

Renewly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and deleting your data

• Remove a subscription by swiping it. Deleted items stay in Recently deleted for 30 days, then are removed.
• Settings, Data, Delete all data removes everything stored by Renewly on your iPhone. Deleting the app also removes it.
• You can turn off any permission (Notifications, Calendar, Face ID) in iPhone Settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).

Not financial advice

Renewly is a tracking tool. Totals, forecasts and insights are calculated from the prices and dates you enter and may differ from what you are actually charged. Renewly cannot cancel subscriptions for you. Service names suggested in the app are provided only for convenience; Renewly is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those services, and their names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app or its App Store page.
